ALTA is the ACDICT Learning & Teaching Academy.

Each year ALTA holds a forum, a two- or three-day meeting with presentations and discussions designed to engage and inform academics who hold a supervisory responsibility for teaching and learning within their organisations.

2024: The ALTA forum will be held in person at the University of Western Australia in Perth on Wednesday 19 June and Thursday 20 June. This follows on directly from the Annual Council Meeting on Tuesday 18 June.

Members and friends have been sent more information by email.

Useful documents will be posted on the right when available.

2023: The ACM and the ALTA forum were held contiguously – the ACM on Tuesday 27 June and the ALTA forum on Wednesday and Thursday 28 and 29 June. Links are provided to the schedule and to the slide presentations of presenters who were happy to share them. Some additional presentations have been shared elsewhere just with those who attended the event.

2022: In the first face-to-face meeting since the covid restrictions, the ACM and ALTA forum were combined into a single event in November, at the Coolangatta campus of Southern Cross University. The program of the combined event is attached.

2021: The ALTA forum was an online event because of covid travel and meeting restrictions. The program is attached.
